Terms & Conditions
The deposit secures the dates for the guest and is non refundable. The deposit amount will depend on the length of your stay total cost. the minimum deposit is €100.
The balance is due six weeks before the arrival date. If the holiday is less than six weeks away the full balance is required to secure the booking. If the guest fails to pay the balance on time we shall be entitled to treat the booking as cancelled by the guest.
The guest’s payment (minus the booking deposit) is returnable if the cancellation is more than 28 days before the start of the holiday. If the guest cancels less than 28 days before the holiday, we reserve the right to retain the initial deposit and the balance.
Payment can be made by bank transfer.
With all bookings a damage deposit of €300 is payable a week before the holiday and is usually returned, after inspection, via bank transfer the day after the guests’ departure.
We do not like asking for a damage deposit and we have only recently reintroduced one. We know that most guests are at pains to look after the houses during their stay, but experience has told us that we need to have one in place.
Guests will be required to supply their full names, home address, email address and contact telephone number. We will also need to know how many adults, children and dogs will be staying.
Maison Broche et Clos Neuf is advertised on several holiday letting websites and the available dates are live on the online calendars. For nearly every week we advertise we receive several inquiries and indications that people want to book, but often they come to nothing, so the only way we can judge whether dates are booked is when a payment is made. This is also the reason why we are unable to accept cheques.
